Roscoe the drugs dog joined officers today, Tuesday, February 9, as they patrolled anti-social behaviour hotspots and stopped and searched a number of people.

Two people were detained for possession of drugs and officers also found a missing person, who they helped return home safely, and came to the aid of an elderly man who had slipped on the ice and broken his shoulder.

“The team will continue their patrols of the city centre, despite the weather, and the lockdown. We ask that you continue to stay safe and only venture into the city centre if it is absolutely essential,” she added.
