Police discovered £8000 worth of cannabis plants during a house search in a quiet Sheffield suburb.

Officers made the discovery at an address on Heavygate Road in Walkley, which they said had been “attracting our attention for a while”.
After obtaining a warrant to search the house, they found a “small but very well organised cannabis setup, with around £8k worth of plants ready to be prepared, weighed and sold on the streets of Sheffield.”
Enquiries are continuing to trace those responsible, police said.
