Police cordon remains in place after Sheffield shooting

Two police cars and a van are currently guarding the scene on Staniforth Road following the incident, in which a man suffered a gunshot wound.
Emergency services were called to the area just before 5pm yesterday (January 4), where a 28-year-old man was found with an injury to his upper body.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital where he currently remains in a critical condition.
Staniforth Road remains closed while police carry out house-to-house enquiries and gather forensic evidence to pinpoint the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
No arrests have been made so far.
