Police said a helicopter was used to try and locate a driver who failed to stop for officers.

The helicopter was seen and heard in Beauchief after a driver failed to stop for police in the Ringinglow Road area.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson told The Star: “The helicopter is in that area providing support after a reported fail to stop in the Ringinglow Road area of the city.”
