Police confirm ‘no arrests made’ after shooting on one of Sheffield’s most exclusive streets

Detectives investigating a shooting on one of the most exclusive streets in Sheffield have completed their probe subject to any more information coming to light.

On Thursday, February 18, two shots were fired at a house on Dore Road, Dore.

A window was damaged but no injuries were reported at the property.

The house was sealed off and under police guard overnight and for much of the following day while a forensic examination of the crime scene was carried out.

Today, South Yorkshire Police said no arrests have yet been made but a 49-year-old man was ‘interviewed under caution’ about the incident.

Detectives said the shooting is not being linked to any other incident.

South Yorkshire Police said: “This investigation has now been filed pending any further information coming to light.”
