Police close West Street in Sheffield city centre due to incident
West Street in Sheffield city centre is closed this morning due to a police incident.
The stretch between Fitzwilliam Street and Orange Street is blocked while police officers respond to an incident which occurred overnight.
Stagecoach Supertram said trams and buses are unable to serve West Street.
Buses are diverting via Trippet Lane and Broad Lane.
Details on the nature of the incident being dealt with have not yet been released by South Yorkshire Police.
