Police chase through Sheffield after man is stabbed outside shop

A teenage girl has been arrested and police are hunting two other people after a man was stabbed outside a Sheffield shop.

The 39-year-old victim was reportedly stabbed and his vehicle was badly damaged following an altercation with three people outside a store in Nodder Road, Woodthorpe, on Thursday, May 6.

Police, who were called at around 10.20am, said the attackers had fled the scene in a white Audi.

When officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, it failed to stop and police set off in pursuit.

The Audi was abandoned soon after on Castelback Avenue, with the suspects fleeing the scene.

A 17-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been bailed while the investigation continues.

Police, who said the victim had sustained only minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment, are still trying to locate the two outstanding suspects.
