Police called to domestic incident involving two women after 'aggresive row' on Sheffield estate

Police officers were called to a domestic incident involving two women arguing at a house.

They were alerted to the incident in Arcubus Avenue, Aston, yesterday and found two women, aged 29 and 23, embroiled in a row.

The younger woman had self-inflicted injuries.

South Yorkshire Police said both women left the house and were ‘detained’ in Wesley Avenue after becoming verbally aggressive.

The 23-year-old was found in possession of a small knife, arrested but later released with no further action to be taken.
