Police batter down door to stop Sheffield class A drugs operation

Police battered down the door of a house in Southey after they suspected that a class A drugs operation was being run from inside.

The officers entered the Southey property by smashing down the front door during the execution of a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Once insdie they seized a large amount of suspected class A drugs that were being cut within the address.

Two men and one woman were arrested at the scene for possession with intent to supply offences.

The action was part of South Yorkshire Police’s ongoing work to tackle the local illegal drug supply.
