Police appeal for help in tracing suspect wanted over Rotherham attack

Police have issued a photograph of a man wanted for failing to attend court over an assault charge.

Trevor Miller, aged 29, from Rotherham, was due to appear at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 3 over an alleged incident in January, where a woman was assaulted while she was walking in Dinnington.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said ‘extensive enquiries’ had been carried out but to no avail.

She added: “Officers are now asking for the public’s help.”

Miller, who is believed to be a regular visitor to Kiveton and Dinnington, is 6ft 2ins tall and has short brown hair.

He has ‘Natasha’ tattooed on his right arm and a distinctive birthmark on the back of his left hand.

Anyone who has seen Miller or knows his whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting C/6289/2014.
