Police are appealing for information after a taxi was damaged in Chesterfield.

Four men and a woman were picked up from Corporation Street at about 12.30am on November 29 and taken to The Rocklands, Shirebrook.

The group refused to pay before damaging the taxi.

They ran off shouting racist abuse directed at the taxi driver.

One of the men is aged between 30 and 35-years-old, of a slim build, dark hair and a beard. The rest of the group were aged between 20 to 25-years-old.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Andrew Brooks at Bolsover police station using the non-emergency 101 number.
