Police appeal after 85-year-old man injured in Meadowhead supermarket argument

Police have appealed for information after an 85-year-old man was injured after an argument in the Morrison’s store at Meadowhead.

At about 11.20am on Monday December 23, it was reported to police that an argument occurred in the Morrison’s store at Meadowhead.

As a result of the argument, the elderly man fell to the floor.

Police say it is unclear whether the man was assaulted or not, and officers are asking those who saw what happened to contact them. The supermarket was busy with Christmas shoppers and police believe a number of people saw what happened, but have not yet spoken to an officer.
