Pet owner whose cat killed by speeding driver on Sheffield street urges motorists to slow down

A devoted pet owner whose cat was killed when it was hit by a car on a Sheffield road has taken matters into her own hands in a bid to get drivers to slow down.

Posters have been placed on lampposts on Rural Lane, as it passes by Wadsley Common.

They feature a picture of the owner’s cat and the message: ‘You killed me driving too fast. Slow down.”
