Pensioner threatened with razor by masked men in Rotherham home

A pensioner was threatened with a cut-throat razor when a group of masked men burst into his Rotherham home.

Three men entered the house in Thrybergh, on Saturday, March 7 at about 8.20pm.

They forced the 88-year-old man to the ground and threatened him, before stealing cash and a black jewellery box containing a pearl necklace, a gold wedding ring and five other rings.

The men had their faces covered and are thought to have left the area in a vehicle.

The pensioner was not hurt, but has been left shaken by his ordeal.

Witnesses are asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 1117 of March 7.
