A WOMAN who used her disabled daughter’s blue badge to park her vehicle in a designated bay in Rotherham was fined for abusing the system.
Emma Gaffney, aged 38, of Ascension Mews, Maltby, was caught using her daughter’s blue badge on Drummond Street, while her daughter was not with her.
Ronald Steele, 67, of Herringthorpe Close, Rotherham, was caught using his wife’s badge to park his vehicle free in a pay and display bay on Percy Street when his wife was not there.
Both admitted the offences and were ordered to pay a fine, costs and victim surcharge totalling £75.
Waseem Kazmi, 42, of Middle Lane South, Rotherham, was found guilty in his absence of using his school-age son’s badge to park on College Street.
He was fined a total of £315.
