HELP is needed to find a teenage boy missing from Sheffield for three weeks.

Zachari Adan, known as Zak, is 14 years old and was last seen on Friday, March 30, when he told family he was going to the Spital Lane area of Sheffield and would be back by 7pm. He never returned.

Zak is 5ft 4ins tall and slim. He has short dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black bottoms and blue and white Adidas trainers.

Anyone with information or who may have seen Zak is asked to call the police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident 790 of March 31.

THREE males have appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court following a series of robberies at shops in Treeton, Rawmarsh and Kimberworth Park.

Detectives investigating an armed robbery at Treeton News on April 6 believe it to be linked to similar incidents at Booze Barn, Rawmarsh, on March 30 and the Ring O’ Bells chip shop at Kimberworth Park on April 3.

Jamie Parkhouse, aged 20, of Barbers Avenue, Rawmarsh, and two 17-year-old youths from the Rotherham area, have been charged on suspicion of conspiracy to rob. They were remanded in custody and are due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court next week.

A 29-year-old man arrested in connection with the Treeton incident remains on police bail.

THE police helicopter was called to help search for a nuisance biker reported by fed-up residents in the Wisewood area of Sheffield.

Reports were made about the rider, thought to be on a motorbike or a quad bike. Officers later posted a message on Facebook asking members of the public to report those shielding him when he went to ground while the helicopter was in the air on Tuesday.

POLICE are investigating the theft of equipment from a building site on Machon Bank, Nether Edge, Sheffield, over the weekend. Officers are also looking into the theft of pipework from an unoccupied property on Becket Walk, Lowedges, between Friday and Tuesday. TWO women who enticed a man into a flat in Sheffield and robbed him of a mobile phone are being hunted by police. The culprits struck on Callow Mount, Gleadless Valley, over the weekend. Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.

POLICE are looking for the burglar responsible for breaking into a storage unit outside a house on Raeburn Road, Gleadless Valley, Sheffield. It was targeted between Friday and Monday. Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.

EMERGENCY services were called to a car which overturned and landed on its roof on the M18 in South Yorkshire. The vehicle ran out of control between junctions one and two - Bramley and Wadworth - at around 1.05pm on Wednesday.
