Naked man spotted swimming at Doncaster beauty spot 'reported to police'

In a widely circulated Facebook post, a woman wrote how she and a friend had witnessed an elderly man bathing in the River Don near Sprotbrough yesterday afternoon.

She said the man, who rode to the spot near the Boat Inn on a bike in ‘tiny white shorts’ ‘literally jumped in for a swim right next to us.”

“He then got out and removed his shorts – just stood there facing us naked as though it was normal, as though he did this all the time.

“Police are aware, they sent officers out to look for the man straight away.

“The fact what he was doing and how he was acting seemed to be normal to him but had us scared. We left and phoned the police.”
