Mystery surrounds death of woman in Rotherham, as second woman remains in hospital
Mystery continues to surround the death of a woman in Rotherham, as another woman found at the same address remains in hospital.
A 21-year-old woman was pronounced dead after emergency services were called to an address on Newland Avenue in Maltby on Saturday, November 16.
A second woman, 22, was taken to hospital, with police describing her condition at the time as ‘serious but stable’. Police said she remained in hospital but is recovering.
The force said at the time that that the younger woman’s death was not being treated as suspicious but it has yet to release any more details about the incident and has declined to say whether a post-mortem has been carried out.
An inquest has yet to be opened into the death of the 21-year-old woman.
