Myrtle Road Sheffield: Police reveal incident in Heeley was ‘sudden death’ after emergency services are deployed

Police have revealed the nature of the incident that saw a number of emergency vehicles in a Sheffield suburb this morning.

At least three ambulances and one police vehicle could be seen on Myrtle Road, Heeley, near the junction with Anns Road, according to witnesses.

The road however appeared to remain open to traffic as there was no police tape or cordon present.

When contacted, South Yorkshire Police said the incident was a 'sudden death' with 'nothing suspicious' about it.
