Bouquets of flowers, candles and bottles of Desperado beer have been left on Wath Road, Mexborough, near to a police crime scene cordon where 20-year-old Lewis Williams was gunned down on Monday afternoon.

He was shot close to the Farmfoods store at around 4.30pm and despite the efforts of paramedics who battled to revive him, Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.
