Murder suspects remain in police custody over Sheffield stabbing

Three murder suspects arrested over a stabbing in Sheffield remain in police custody today.

The men, two aged 18 and one aged 20, all from Rotherham, were arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of 18-year-old Isaiah Usen-Satchell, from Norfolk Park.

Isaiah was stabbed when violence flared on St Aidan’s Road, Norfolk Park, at 4.20am yesterday.

He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

South Yorkshire Police said he was injured in a fight involving a group of men but no further details have yet been disclosed.

Isaiah, who was a student at Leeds Trinity University, suffered a number of stab wounds in the incident.

Police officers remain at the crime scene this morning while detectives continue to piece together exactly what happened.
