Murder suspect due in court over death of Doncaster mum Amy Stringfellow

Amy, aged 26, was found seriously injured in a house in Dryden Road, Balby, Doncaster, on Friday, June 5.

When emergency services arrived at the property at 11.35pm she could not be saved and was pronounced dead a short time later.

Terence Papworth, 45, of Dryden Road, Balby, was charged with murder over the weekend and is due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates’ court today.

He has been remanded in custody ahead of the hearing.

Amy, who was a personal trainer, is survived by a young daughter.

In an emotional tribute, her devastated family said: “Our hearts are broken and will never truly be repaired.

“You were beautiful and kind and inspired so many others. We know you will live on in your little girl.

“We love you all the pennies in the world.”
