Murder suspect accused of killing mum-of-four prepares for court date in Sheffield

A man accused of murdering a mum-of-four is preparing for his next court date in Sheffield.

Gary Arthur Allen, aged 46, is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court next month over the murder of 38-year-old Alena Grlakova, from Rotherham.

Alena’s naked body was found on land just off Taylors Lane, Parkgate, four months after she vanished on Boxing Day 2018.

A post-mortem examination revealed that she died as a result of neck injuries.
