A murder probe is underway in Sheffield after a man was attacked in his own home.
The 42-year-old, who has not yet been named, was found seriously injured in his home on Greenland Drive, Darnall, at 1am this morning.
He was rushed to hospital but could not be saved.
A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Today residents living near to the two storey block of flats where the man was found injured spoke of their shock.
A 22-year-old mum who didn’t want to be named, said: “It’s horrible. I heard a noise and came outside at 4.30am and there were loads of police right outside my house.
“They blocked all the flats off next door. It’s a real shock.
“I knew it was bad because of the number of police officers here but I’d never have thought it was a murder.
”I only moved here in July and I was told it was a nice, safe place.”
Grandma Muriel Stewart, aged 74, who has lived in the area for 15 years, said: “It was a shock when I took the dog out this morning and saw all the police outside.
“It’s getting worse around here. There are kids hanging about all over the place spitting, fighting and standing in gangs.
“I’ve never had any trouble but I do feel uneasy living here.
“It’s sad to think someone has died so close to where I live.
“It made me laugh the other day when the police said they were going to be wearing body cameras in Darnall - you never see a police officer.”
Police officers sealed off a two storey block of flats while a detailed examination is carried out.
This morning there were six police vehicles at the scene.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “A murder investigation has been launched after a man died following an assault at his home in Sheffield.
“Police were called by the ambulance service just after 1am today after a man was found with serious injuries at his home in Greenland Drive, Darnall.
“The 42-year-old man was taken to hospital but died later.
“A post mortem examination will take place today to establish the cause of death.
“A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in police custody.
“Police inquiries at the scene will be ongoing throughout the day.”
