Murder probe continues nearly one year after discovery of critically injured man in Sheffield

Nadeem Qureshi, aged 40, was found seriously injured on land off Station Road, Deepcar, on Wednesday, July 24 and died a short time later.

A number of arrests have been made, with suspects from Bolsterstone, Lowedges, Deepcar and Manchester among those quizzed and bailed, but nobody has been charged.

Mr Qureshi, who was a former member of the Army but no longer serving, was from Manchester and working in Sheffield when he was attacked.

Detectives investigating his death have revealed that he suffered injuries to his head, chest, abdomen and lower limbs.
