A murder probe in Sheffield is continuing today after the fatal stabbing of a young man in Sheffield.

An 18-year-old, who has not yet been named, was killed during a fight on St Aidan’s Road, Norfolk Park, in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

Emergency services who were alerted to the incident at 4.20am found a man with stab wounds, who was taken to hospital but could not be saved.

South Yorkshire Police said there was a ‘fight between a group of men’.

Three men, two aged 18 and one aged 20, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody today.

The crime scene was cordoned off and under police guard all yesterday and overnight.
