Motorcyclist, 25, tragically killed after horror pickup truck crash

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a 25-year-old on a motorbike was killed in a crash in Rotherham.

A motorcyclist died after reportedly colliding with a pick up truck in Rotherham on Wednesday, June 24.

The 25-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and sadly died in hospital yesterday afternoon, June 25, after colliding with a grey Nissan Navara pick up truck at 3.50pm.

He was riding a black Honda motorbike along Carr Lane in the direction of Kilnhurst when he is believed to have crashed with the truck travelling in the opposite direction.

Officers are now urging anyone who witnessed the collision or CCTV or dash cam footage of the crash to come forward.

To report any information about the collision, call police on 101 and reference incident number 678 of June 24.
