A thief is being hunted after a mobility scooter was stolen from outside a house in Barnsley.
The machine was taken from Red Hill Avenue, Kendray, while its owner - an 85-year-old man - visited a friend between 10.45am and 11.45am on Thursday, September 17.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “When the elderly man came outside, the scooter was gone.
“The victim depends on the scooter to get around and is eager to get it back.
“If you have seen the scooter, or witnessed any suspicious activity in the Red Hill Avenue area of Kendray on Thursday morning, please call.”
