A man reported missing from home may have travelled to Sheffield, police believe.
Martin Leeds, aged 43, from Middlesbrough, vanished during a visit to the Newport area of East Yorkshire.
He was staying in a pub and was last seen by a relative at 8pm on Sunday, March 22.
Police officers investigating his disappearance believe he may have travelled to Sheffield by train.
A Humberside Police spokesman said: “Mr Leeds was reported missing to police when he failed to return to the public house after leaving the previous evening.
“Concern is raised for Mr Leeds due to an existing medical condition for which he requires medication.
“He has connections with Middlesbrough and enquiries suggest he could have travelled to the Sheffield area and may be using the rail networks.”
Mr Leeds is white, 6ft 1ins tall, of a medium build and has short, light brown hair shaved at the sides.
He was last seen was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue denim jeans, a camouflage jacket and white Reebock trainers.
He wears an earring in his left ear and has the word ‘FEZ’ tattooed across the fingers of one hand.
