After disagreeing over the price, the potential buyer gave the key back to the owner, before getting back into the car and driving off.

It is believed that he cloned the car key while on the test drive.

After driving off, the man collided with a van but did not stop.

The Mercedes was later found abandoned on nearby Roundel Street.

E-fits have been produced for two of the men wanted for questioning over the incident.
