Men still wanted by police over glassing in Walkabout in Sheffield city centre

Detectives investigating an attack on a 21-year-old man in Walkabout on Saturday, December 21 have re-released a photograph of two men they want to trace.

They are believed to hold vital information about the incident, in which a man was struck with a glass bottle over his head.

South Yorkshire Police said: “At approximately 1.30am, it’s reported that a 21-year-old man was in Walkabout when six men approached him. “One of the group is then said to have smashed a glass bottle across the victim’s head, leaving him with cuts to his head and neck.“As two door staff escorted the group off the premises, it’s then believed that they assaulted the two doormen.“The six men then ran off.”Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 130 of December 21.
