Men remain in hospital after double stabbing in Sheffield

Two men remain in hospital this morning after a double stabbing in Sheffield.

The men, aged 19 and 20, were found injured after police officers were alerted to an incident on Gleadless Road, Gleadless, shortly after 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 18.

It is reported that a black Vauxhall Astra deliberately collided with a silver Vauxhall Corsa, causing it to leave the road.

The two occupants of the Corsa were found nearby with stab wounds and were taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Meanwhile, a police hunt for the Astra involved in the collision is under way.

It was driven away from the crime scene and has not yet been traced.

No arrests have been made.

Witnesses to the incident or anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 879 of May 18.
