Men charged with robbery and attempted robbery at bus terminus in Sheffield

Two men have been charged over the robbery and attempted robbery of two bus drivers in Sheffield.

Kyle Aldridge, aged 18, of no fixed abode and Alex Waby, also 18, of Ironside Road, Gleadless Valley, have been charged over incidents at the Raeburn Road bus terminus in Herdings last month.

One driver had cash stolen after he was approached and threatened by a group of males with a hammer.

Another driver was threatened with a gun in an attempted robbery.

Both men are charged with robbery and attempted robbery, with Aldridge also charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
