Men charged over string of robberies at bookmakers

Three men arrested over a spate of raids in South Yorkshire have been charged.

Brett Haslam, aged 24, of Church Street, Wales, 25-year-old David Nuttall, 25, of Crumwell Street, Kimberworth, and Ben Porter, 20, of Friars Croft, Wentworth, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Haslam and Nuttall have also been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of amphetamine with intent to supply and aggravated burglary.

Haslam also faces a charge of producing cannabis, while Nuttall is facing additional charges of possessing cannabis and Mcat with intent to supply.

A 16-year-old boy from Wales has been bailed.

The raids are alleged to have been carried out at bookmakers in Maltby, Swallownest, Thurcroft, Greasbrough, Kiveton and High Green in Sheffield.
