Three men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over a city centre car crash in which two pedestrians were injured have been released on police bail.
The men, all in their late 20s, were arrested in the early hours of Monday after a car collided with a two men on Fitzwilliam Gate at the bottom of The Moor.
Emergency services were alerted to the smash at 3.05am and found a 20-year-old man with severe leg injuries and another man who suffered bruising. The first remains in hospital and the second was taken to hospital but later released.
