A police hunt is underway for a man wanted over an assault on two women in Barnsley.

South Yorkshire Police want to speak to Logan Taylor Richards, 20, in connection with the incident at a property in the New Lodge area on July 26.

At around 9pm, a man is reported to have entered the property and assaulted two women, aged 32 and 33, causing them to suffer injuries which required hospital treatment.

Officers want to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to Richards recently, or knows where he may be staying.

He is believed to frequent the Athersley and New Lodge areas of Barnsley and could be using the name Logan Fretwell.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting crime reference number 14/111940/20.
