Man wanted by police over shop robbery in Sheffield where store assistant threatened

A man is wanted by the police in Sheffield after a robbery in which a shop assistant was threatened.

Two men were involved in a hold up at Costcutter on Fife Street, Wincobank, at 7.47am on Saturday, May 8.

They asked to buy vodka and cigarettes before threatening the shop assistant and taking the items without paying.

The men left in a Chrysler vehicle.

One man is in prison over the incident but one remains at large.

Jack Flint-Dowling, aged 25, of no fixed abode, appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 21 charged with theft from a shop.

He was sentenced to eight weeks in prison after pleading guilty and was ordered to pay £60 compensation.

Police officers are now looking to trace the second man involved and have released a CCTV image of a man who could hold vital information.

He is in his thirties and has a tattoo on his neck.
