Man threatened staff with knife at M1 service station near Sheffield

A knife-wielding man threatened staff working at Woodall Services near Sheffield last night.

Police were called to the incident at the services on the southbound side of the M1 at 9.30pm.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We received reports that a man had threatened staff working at Woodall Services with a knife.

“It is understood that the unknown man then left the scene, driving away from the services in a dark-coloured vehicle.

“Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 1119 of November 5.”
