Man suffers slash wound in Barnsley attack
A 40-year-old man has suffered a slash wound after being assaulted by a group of unknown offenders in Barnsley on Monday night (January 6).

South Yorkshire Police said they were called around 5pm following reports of an assault in the Goldthorpe area.
A spokeswoman said: "It is reported that a 40-year-old man was assaulted by a group of unknown offenders.
"He suffered a small wound during the incident."
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting incident number 525 of January 6.
