A man has suffered life-changing injuries after he was seriously assaulted with a weapon in a property in Rotherham.

The attack took place a property on Avondale Road, Masbrough, on December 18 sometime between 6.30pm-7pm, when a 35-year-old man was attacked with an unspecified weapon.

South Yorkshire Police were called to the scene at 7.30pm, and the man was taken to hospital with life-changing injuries.

Anyone with information about the attacker or what happened is asked to call SYP on 101, quoting incident number 755 of December 18.
