Man stabbed in knife attack in Sheffield street

A man has undergone surgery after a stabbing in a Sheffield street.

The 41-year-old suffered two stab wounds to his leg in an incident on Southey Hill, Southey, at 4.55am on Friday, December 13.

He has had surgery this morning but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Officers are continuing their enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
