POLICE discovered the body of a man at his home in Wincobank after concerned relatives raised the alarm when they were unable to make contact with him.
A spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police said: “The body of a 45-year-old man was discovered at his home. Police are not treating his death as suspicious.”
FIVE men have been charged with handling stolen goods after a number of stolen vehicles and parts were recovered from a farm in Clowne.
Three of the men are aged 17, 21 and 26 and from Sheffield, one is 25 and from Rotherham and the other is 21 and from Renishaw.
The vehicles had been reported stolen from Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.
Man trapped in car
A MAN in his 60s was cut free from his car after it overturned as he was travelling along East Bank Road, Arbourthorne, Sheffield, yesterday morning.
Emergency services were alerted to his plight and after firefighters released him he was taken to hospital.
POLICE are investigating after a house on Halfway Gardens, Halfway, Sheffield, was set alight in an arson attack yesterday morning.
The fire was discovered at around 7am when the occupants were out.
The hallway was alight and there was smoke damage throughout.
