Man robbed in own home

A MAN was assaulted and robbed of cash by two men he allowed into his home when they called and said they were selling tobacco.

The 59-year-old, of Cauldon Drive, Chesterfield, opened his door to the men between 10pm and 10.30pm on Sunday and allowed them into his flat.

Both were white and around 5ft 10ins tall.

One was of an average build, aged in his early 20s, with short black hair and a fringe.

He looked scruffy and wore a jacket and jeans.

The other was of a larger build with long brown hair. He was also scruffy and wore a grey bomber jacket.
