Man with meat cleaver arrested in Sheffield city centre
A man has been charged with possession of a bladed article after officers discovered a meat cleaver during a stop search in Sheffield on Saturday night (16 January).

Kaden Bennett, 24, of Mellish Road, Langold, Bassetlaw, has also been charged with possession of cannabis and prescription drugs. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (19 January).
Officers from the Sheffield Tasking Team were carrying out routine stop searches on High Street, Sheffield on Saturday.
