A man was left lying injured on a Sheffield city centre street after he was attacked by a gang of five men.

The man was seen lying injured in Castle Square on Wednesday, April 7, at around 6pm with injuries to his face and wrist.
It was reported that five men approached the 40-year-old man and assaulted him before leaving the scene.
The man did not receive hospital treatment and enquires are now underway to identify the men involved. Call 101 with any information.
