Leon Robinson was initially arrested after he breached a restraining order against him.

While he was being processed in custody, however, he assaulted two police employees.

Robinson has been sentenced to 12 months in prison as a result of his crimes, a spokesperson for Barnsley South East neighbourhood policing team confirmed.

No further details about his case are known at this stage.
