A man is in a serious condition in hospital after falling from a roof in Sheffield.
The 30-year-old fell 10ft from the roof of a shop on Lowedges Road, Lowedges.
He was rushed to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, where he remains.
Police believe he fell in the early hours of Saturday but was not found until 2pm later that day.
He was discovered on the ground at the rear of the shop.
Officers want to speak to anyone who may have seen him before he fell.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers were called to Lowedges Road in Sheffield at about 2pm on Saturday after reports that a man had been found with head injuries in an enclosed area at the rear of a row of shops.
“The 30-year-old local man was taken to Royal Hallamshire Hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
“Police believe he may have fallen around 10ft from a shop roof in the early hours of Saturday morning before being discovered later that day.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen people on the shop roofs, especially in the early hours of Saturday morning, to contact them.”
A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on bail.
