Man in court after 12-year-old boy robbed in Barnsley

A man has appeared before court charged in connection with the robbery of a 12-year-old boy

Darrell Stott, 30, of Farrar St, Barnsley, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday April 15).

He was remanded into custody until his next appearance on Thursday May 13.

The alleged robbery took place on Doncaster Road, Barnsley on 16 March.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said a second man who was arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.
