Man found hiding spice drug 'down his pants' in Sheffield city centre

Police made the discovery when the man was stopped and searched on High Street following reports of anti-social behaviour in the area.
He was reported to court for possession of spice, a cheap Class B drug that reduces users – many of them homeless – to a semi-comatose state.

Hide AdOfficers also detained a 42-year-old man wanted on a recall to prison.
After police posted about the incident online, one person replied: “This is the reason why I hate going in to Sheffield city centre with my eight-year-old son.”
A spokesperson for the Sheffield City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team responded: “This is the reason we make it our priority to deal with everyday so you shouldn’t have to, my friend.
"It’s our daily business and will continue to be so."
