Man due in Sheffield court accused of two rapes and four sex assaults

A man is due in court in Sheffield today accused of two rapes and four counts of sexual assault.

Allan Hunter, aged 48, of Shelley Drive, Herringthorpe, is set to appear at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court to answer the six charges.

He was arrested after an alleged incident in a property in Rotherham on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 7.

Details of the court case were released by South Yorkshire Police this morning ahead of Hunter’s first hearing.
